Texas Surprise

Tammy's daughter had set up a surprise birthday party in San Antonio for Tammy's 70th birthday. We decided to participate. I had accumulated enough Southwest Airline miles to get to roundtrip tickets and only had to buy Haley's ticket. Eric and Krystal had recently moved to Allen, TX and we wanted to see them as well. Eric recently had another fainting spell that put him in the hospital again. The diagnosis was Pulminary Hypertension. This was causing his heart to enlarge and making him weak. The doctors in Dallas were able to diagnos the problem and it turns out that one of the best medical centers for this issue is in Dallas at UT Southwestern Medical Center. It is a blessing that Eric and Krystal moved to the Dallas area. We arrived in San Antonio and rented a car. We stayed the first night with Felicia's brother, Kevin. Felicia got stung by a scorpion getting in bed that night so she didn't sleep well. The next day we drove our rented Kia A5 to Allen but stopped at Magnolia in Waco on the way.

We made it to Allen and found Eric and Krystal and Koda at home. We had dinner at Torchy's and stayed with them that night then went to the McKinney Farmer's Market the next day.

After the farmer's market breakfast, we took a long drive back to San Antonio for the Tammy's surprise party.
